Apex Medical Wellness is a unique practice. We are committed to alleviating suffering in a kind, caring, safe, and non-judgmental manner. We treat people with opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder as well as those who are in need of palliative medical cannabis care.
Opioid use disorder when left untreated can be fatal. Our practice provides individualized care for an underserved and often misunderstood population. Our trauma-informed staff sees patients by appointment as we have a mutual respect for one another’s time. Given the risks associated with opioid use disorder, we make every effort to see new patients the same day they call for an appointment.
Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) presents another critical challenge that affects millions, with approximately 29.5 million Americans ages 12 and older struggling with AUD. Our approach to AUD is centered on understanding and addressing its profound impact on physical and mental health. We recognize the complexities of diagnosing and treating AUD in a culture where alcohol use is often normalized. Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive care, offering evaluations that consider the full spectrum of an individual’s health and lifestyle.
Our Medical Cannabis Care is a science based approach to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life. We are not a “card-mill” practice. Instead, our focus is on education as we assess our patient’s medical conditions while collaborating with them to determine whether medical cannabis would be beneficial.

Addiction Specialist Extraordinaire
What can I say about Dr. Jill Becker? Simply stated, she is extraordinary! Her depth of knowledge about addiction is matched by her kindness and compassion. She has a remarkable way of making difficult, often overwhelming information feel manageable and she takes the mystery out of medical terminology so that a person listening to the information she’s providing understands immediately without having to feel as if they’re going to need to research medical textbooks to make sense out of everything.
Dr. Becker takes the time to explain treatment options, models of care, and medication choices with clarity and patience, empowering patients to make decisions without fear or confusion. Most importantly, when she meets with her patients, she does so with respect, empathy, and genuine concern. And for anyone navigating the complexities of addiction and recovery, her guidance is both grounding and reassuring.
A review by a fellow patient can be reassuring to some degree but it’s still anonymous and you may remain uncertain about what you can believe. So, with that said, my suggestion to anyone that is considering getting treated by Dr. Becker at Apex Medical, please consider having a bit of “blind faith” in my words and I feel quite confident that you’ll be happy that you took that chance!

Dr. Becker is to me the most considerate, personal, empathetic Dr. I have ever met that works with patients in this setting. Dr. B is so understanding and “listener” the biggest of all my issues with Dr. ‘s is they don’t but Dr. Becker surpasses all my expectations and hopefully yours as well I’m sure once you met her you’ll feel like your talking with a dear old friend with the biggest heart. Give her your sincerity you’ll be happy with your recovery promise.
